Noah
Silverman
Born in Los Angeles, he began shooting photographs at age 13. By 15, he was developing a distinctive and striking personal style that won him an all-city award for black and white photography.
Since then, Noah has funneled his creativity into a plethora of new media productions projects. Living in New York on September 11th, he was the only photographer standing toe to toe with the SWAT and FBI teams at ground Zero before the first building fell. Deeply affected by his experience, he chose to return to photography and dedicate his efforts toward communicating true human emotion through the lens and film.
His photographs capture the ethereal lonliness of an empty city - illuminated only by passing headlights. His level of expression and relation to the visual environment make him a distinct beacon in the world of photography.
