Tom
Wesselmann
Tom Wesselmann, considered by art historians as one of the five most important pop artists including Warhol, Lichtenstein, Rosenquist and Oldenburg, is most famous for his series of one hundred Great American Nude paintings of the 1960s. Celebrated for his pop interpretation of female nudes, interior spaces and still lives, his oil paintings fetch millions at auction and his works are on display at MoMA, New York and in museum collections internationally.
